Work In Progress (WIP) Wednesdays: Dark Purple Scarf for Dad

8 Sep

WIP Sept 8

At the moment, I am also working on this scarf which has been lovely to knit. I am knitting it with Knit Picks Andean Silk and I find this yarn a pleasure to knit with so far. It feels soooo soft on the hands but oh so scratchy on my neck. I add the rubber band to one end of my circular needles to help me keep track of the pattern, which is an easy 2 row pattern.    At the moment, I can’t wait to be done with the scarves I am working on, so I can move on to more exciting projects/patterns.  Must finish these scarves asap!

I made a pullover sweater for my husband a couple of years ago, and the round after round after round (each about 300 stitches) of stockinette stitch just about bored me to tears. I totally understand being “over” the scarves. Good luck!

Thanks! And I couldn’t imagine 300 stitches, I have that problem of getting bored and leaving work hanging around for a bit before I can pick it back up.
