Apple & Cheddar Quesadillas

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with making quesadillas for a quick snack!  They are absolutely delicious and can be made in about 5 minutes!  You can pretty much make them with anything, but here’s how I like mine:

Ingredients:

Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Apple Slices

Tortillas

Instructions: Sprinkle some cheddar cheese  (about two tablespoons) on half a tortilla, add some apple slices, sprinkle more cheese on top, and fold the tortilla in half.  I use a sandwich press and just press it until the cheese is melted.  If you don’t own a sandwich press you can just use a skillet but make sure to use some cooking spray if you are afraid it will stick.  Make sure to turn the folded quesadilla so that it cooks evenly on each side.

Note: You can replace cheddar cheese with any other cheese you like and/or use ham, or some left over chicken, whatever you like instead of apples for a savory snack and add guacamole or sour cream as a side.  I love to make these with smoked turkey ham for a savory snack or lunch!
